Flying 15 2020 European Championships

The next European Championships in 2020 will be run in conjunction with the French Flying Fifteen National Championships.

The venue is Crozon-Morgat, scene of the 2015 World Championships. The dates are Thursday 21st May to Saturday 23rd May.

The event will be run by the French Naval Officers School as part of a larger multi fleet National Championship event across 4 venues. This year's event had 14 classes, over 200 boats, with 1000 people at the prize giving dinner; it gets wide coverage in the French sailing press. See for the 2019 event.

The standard package the French fleet took involved entry fees, lodging and meals for €240. Probably, some UK and Irish sailors would prefer to arrange their own accommodation.

For the UK sailors, the previous weekend is the Southern Championships at Weymouth & Portland NSC. The Bulwark Trophy event at HISC will be moved to the Autumn for this year only. This gives 3 days to cross the channel to France and Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday to get home again.

Further information will become available nearer the event from FFF.
