This summer come and sail your Flying 15 on the Lac de Pareloup, Salles Curan France where the Centre de Yachting à Voile de Pareloup (CYVP) is organising a week’s activities for Flying 15s
The CYVP is an ideal place for sailing. At an altitude of 800m this huge artificial lake (3000 acres) has a great climate for sailing in the summer. The club is on a vast piece of land on the water’s edge which the club runs as a family campsite during July and August.
We intend to organise a week’s sailing activities for Flying 15s : 24-29th July 2018. This would include practice races, match racing, sailing rallies, trips round the lake and more. These activities would be arranged daily depending on wind conditions. At the end of the week participants could join in the weekly Sunday handicap races.
For accommodation many choices are available : camping or renting a small chalet on site, renting a house or flat, staying in a « chambre d’hôte » or a small hotel in one of the 2 nearby villages : Salles Curan or Saint Martin des Faux.
Pareloup Lake is on the Lévézou Plateau in the Aveyron department with easy access from the north via the A75. There are many, many interesting places to visit nearby plus a multitude of outdoor activities for those less interested in sailing.
At the moment we have just 4 Flying 15s in the club. We will all be present for this special week to make sure you enjoy your stay with us.
