Please advise the list controller of any transaction completed so that the boat/equipment may be removed from the list. The Secretary should be informed of any change of ownership.
If you wish to advertise here, please contact the list controller (Graham Lamond) – not the Webmaster. There is a one-off charge of £5.00 for members, £10.00 for non-members (please make cheques payable to “British Isles Flying Fifteen Association”) to cover the running costs of the list, which is also distributed on paper.
We have been advised by several members selling boats that they have been approached by “buyers” offering large cash payments as deposits (subsequently reclaimed) or false/forged cheques. Both of these are thought to be money laundering schemes.
The following information is only approximate and should only be used as a rough guide to the age of boats. Some boats have taken several years to build! Some others are built in one year and officially registered in the next.
