LOCH EARN
Location: Loch Earn S.C. is on the A85 19 miles west of Crieff. The sailing club is 1.5 miles west of St. Fillans on the north shore of the loch.
Map
Water: A freshwater loch approximately 7 miles long and 1 mile wide. The racing takes place in the eastern section of the loch between St. Fillans and about 2.5 miles west of the clubhouse, giving a racing area of about 4 miles by 2 miles.
Launching: There is a launching slip in front of the clubhouse, only 50 metres from the start and finish line.
Facilities: There are three rescue launches, with one at least on the water while racing is in progress. The clubhouse has shower and changing facilities. We also have a caravan site attached to the club and visiting competitors are welcome to camp and bring a caravan for regattas and open meetings.
